South Dakota Crop Improvement Association (SDCIA) was formed in 1925 through consolidation of the SD Corn Growers and Breeders Association, founded in 1906, the SD Grain Growers Association, organized in 1910, and the SD Experiment Association, established in 1912. Rogers Manufacturing Corporation (RMC) was founded by Larry Rogers in 1981 with eight employees. In the beginning RMC manufactured roof and floor trusses to be supplied within a short shipping radius of West Monroe, LA. While residential markets were of primary focus, some commercial and multifamily construction was supplied in the beginning.

Quadd Building Systems, LLC. is an organization geared toward providing the “DMV” area (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia) and its local communities with quality building systems. Quadd cuts and constructs roof trusses and floor systems in their operations center located in Remington, Virginia. Our design team has over 75 years experience in the truss building industry and another 15 years in the field as carpenters using the same products we now manufacture.

Actual construction details are often slightly different from those tested due to cost, availability, and other reasons. With an engineering analysis, we can often show that the as-built design is equal or superior to that which was evaluated and approved. If not, we can recommend alternatives to bring the assembly up to code, which is done by following standard fire protection engineering rules and comparing approved designs that are very close in detail. Letters of endorsement from Professional Engineers registered in any U.S. state are available on request.
