Qualtim recently doubled its space for testing and office space in response to customer demand and the strong growth of its businesses. This added space is located west of Madison at 4319 Twin Valley Road in Middleton, Wisconsin, approximately 15-minutes from the company’s Madison facility.
The additional location will allow the Center for Building Innovation (CBI) and DrJ Engineering (DrJ) to expand its support of Qualtim customers, as it more than doubles the test fixture, test specimen construction, test material storage, and engineering service capabilities. This expansion will also allow for shorter set up times, pre-set testing stations, and more efficient data processing. It will also free up space in the Madison facility to do what it does best: larger scale systems testing.
“For the past 35 years, the strong desire of our Qualtim family of services has been to listen carefully and serve each of our customer’s needs with timely and knowledgeable expertise,” says Kirk Grundahl, President of Qualtim. “It became obvious that this is the right time to make a significant investment in our ability to serve needs better than ever.”
“We hear over and over that our customers see something in us that they are not finding elsewhere,” Grundahl continues. “Our staff shines when it comes to managing operations with a manufacturing efficiency mindset. Machinist and mechanical engineering innovation permeates their fixture and set-up designs to accommodate a variety of application testing needs. We are so blessed to have such a creative team with this caliber of expertise.”
Testing at the new location is expected to begin sometime in this fall. To watch our progress as the new space takes shape, follow us on LinkedIn or Facebook.
