Qualtim is seeking a motivated Entry-Level IT Help Desk Technician to join our support team. This role is ideal for someone eager to build their IT career, expand their technical knowledge, and provide excellent customer service in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user technical support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Support and administer Microsoft products, including Windows OS, Office 365, Teams, and Exchange.
  • Manage and document tickets in the help desk system.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Assist with user onboarding, system updates, and routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Required 

  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide professional, patient, and customer-focused support.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, in an on-site environment.

Preferred

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related role.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
  • Degree or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service desk processes.
