Desktop Support Technician

Job Description

Qualtim is currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to add to our IT team as a Desktop Support Technician. In this position, you will play a key role in providing support for many areas of IT. You will troubleshoot problems and provide hands-on support for IT issues within our organization. This is a part time position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work to implement and maintain a help ticket system
  • Provide solutions to recurring IT issues via scripting, Group Policy or other means
  • Troubleshoot end user issues in a Windows 10 VDI environment
  • Provide daily system support for network issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc. to employees
  • Diagnose hardware issues on zero clients, printers and other devices
  • Assist employees with computer problems and answer their questions
  • Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment and software
  • Set up equipment for new users

Required Skills

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support role

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy a plus
  • Experience with VMware Horizon and vSphere a plus
