Agron Gjinolli joined Qualtim in February of 2007. Agron’s responsibilities as a member of Qualtim’s technical team includes: educational programs development, technology transfer, forensic engineering projects, technical assistance to builders and design professionals, engineered wood products and structures consulting, destructive and nondestructive testing and code development. His work also includes representing WTCA at various committee meetings, including: TPI, AWC, ASCE, ASTM, and CSA. As you can see, Agron enjoys the variety of engineering work and people with whom he works with at Qualtim. Agron has over 23 years of combined experience in structural analysis and design, failure analysis, forensic structural engineering and research and teaching at the university level. Agron taught courses in wood structures, precast and presstressed concrete and highway bridges.
Agron has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Emphasis from University of Prishtina, College of Civil and Architectural Engineering – Prishtina, Kosova and an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Structures Emphasis from University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is currently working on preparatory coursework towards his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, College of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Structures Emphasis. Agron is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin. Agron has authored or co-authored several publications pertaining to wood engineering and design, precast and prestressed concrete, and failure analysis and forensic structural investigations. Agron, his wife, Shpresa, and their two boys, Melit and Bledat live in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Agron enjoys downhill skiing, basketball, mountain biking and swimming. Agron also likes pencil sketching, watercolor painting, and abstract art. |
