Michael Oftedahl joined Qualtim in August 2005 after a short time in the retail end of the construction industry. At Qualtim Michael helps develop and maintain educational and certification programs for component manufacturers. He really enjoys traveling around the country to train component manufacturers about industry quality standards, and getting the opportunity to meet and work with so many interesting people. Michael also helps manufacturers implement safety programs at their plants and manages a plant certification project. He continues to work on the development of new training programs and management tools. Michael received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville but his favorite semester of school was studying in Sweden while on a student exchange program. He grew up on a farm in rural northern Wisconsin and enjoys going back for all of the recreational activities, including: waterskiing, snowmobiling, and riding his new four wheeler whenever possible. While in Madison, he keeps busy playing on football, basketball, and softball teams throughout the year. If you can’t get a hold of him on a warm summer afternoon, there is a chance that he and Tony are playing a round of disc golf.
