Jay is a fixture at Qualtim, since starting in 1991 after college and traveling through Asia. He exemplifies the philosophy that "Liberal Arts makes the world go 'round," with his degrees in Music and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Since starting at Qualtim Jay has done many things, including accounting, shipping, desktop publishing, reception, networking, professional voice-over, etc. Over the years Jay has focused on database and web programming, with his professional purpose defined as, "helping individuals work with more efficiency and satisfaction by creating systems that allow them to connect to data and each other." Jay is Qualtim's IT Development Manager, which means he is one of the company's primary data and web system architects, and acts as a resource in this area. Jay lives in Madison, with his feline bud, Raja. He spends his spare hours on home renovation projects, biking and other sports, and teaching personal and professional development courses throughout the United States. He enjoys working at Qualtim, where things are fast-paced, flexible, friendly and fun! Jay likes a lot of alliteration.
